Many military veterans when they transition back to civilian life are not provided with sufficient resources to complete a successful transition. Many veterans go unemployed or have a hard time finding a job. Additionally, many veterans do not know what career opportunities best match their military experience and potential self worth.

At 1st Civilian Division Limited, we are looking to change this by leveraging data analytics, career transition resources, and existing veterans' experience to provide numerous resources to help veterans with the transition. In the military, service members are assigned to specific units and these units have numerical, functional, and size designations. Here are a few examples from several branches:

• 82nd Airborne Division (Army)

• 3rd Marine Division (Marine Corps)

• 7th Fleet (Navy)

• 25th Air Force (Air Force)

• 1st Coast Guard District (Coast Guard)

The term, 1st Civilian Division (1st CIV DIV), is a running joke when military service members are about to leave the military and return to civilian life. We want to help military service members join the 1st CIV DIV successfully!
